African Adventures, Day 111

Day 111:
Today was another day dealing with corruption ;). I woke up this morning later than usual since I did not sleep much the night before. Everything I heard I thought there was like someone outside or something....
I had eaten breakfast and my parents had gone next door, and I started to hear yelling. My first thoughts were "Oh what now.." I decided I would go next door and check it out, and YES I definitely remembered to lock the door so no thieves would come. As I was going outside the door my mom was coming in looking very frustrated. I asked her what's up and she said she just gave a speech to the entire high-school full of students. And now Dickson is upset with them because well , they are not very smart to go break into someone's house who is helping THEM out! :/ SO I went over and saw the whole school standing outside, getting lectured. I waited until it was done, spoke to dad and found out they have until 4pm or else the police are involved.  We went back to the house and had spent most of the day talking with Dickson, and looking  closely by our side of the fence to see if they had dropped anything. It was soon close to 4 and we were just checking for stuff behind the boys dorm. We went back to Dickson and no one had come forward so... we walked down to the police station. As soon as we got there we talked to Sophie (Ben's sister) who lives next door , then went and talked to them. We left there and they said they would come. We had to go back to the dress shop to see if anything was ready , then to the orphanage again. We played with the kids until the police arrived, and talked to them for some time. After we finished we had to go back to Mary's (the dressmaker/our friend) to pick some things up. Just when we were there we got a call saying they needed us at the orphanage. We walked quickly down and saw all the boys standing outside being talked to by the police. (You have to understand there was a riot before and now them breaking in our house.. things build up)  After they finished we were talking to one of the officers telling him some of the things that have happened before. (If you ask me what kind of corruption and things have happened I will tell you but  I am un-able to post it all here.. there's WAY too much and well it would be easier to explain personally. Plus for security reasons.) We were told that the students have until Friday next week to tell us who broke into our house or else.. well the police who are very harsh here will be dealing furtherwise with them and the consequences will not be pretty. We headed back to the house had shown them around where the thief guy had been looking around, but I guess I had caught him before he got the expensive laptop stuff ;) YAY!  After they left we played more with the kids then headed back to the house for the night and LOCKED  ourselves in.
