African Adventures, Day 55

Day 55;
I woke up this morning and as every Sunday, I went to church. . . But not the kind of church most people picture, it's actually more like a party!(My type of church) Everyone was excited to see  me out of the house and at church because I had not seen the villagers much during the week do to me being sick and in bed. We had Ben perform again and we even had elderly people dancing ;) ! (So cute!) After church finished we ate lunch and then Ben and I decided we were going to go into the hills.. ON A MOTORCYCLE. (It may not seem very exciting to some people but I had never been on a motorcycle before Africa, just a four-wheeler and such) We drove up the mountains , here and there stopping because we were stalled ;) Or because there would be a huge ramp or bump . (These roads are NOT like back home... they are barely roads.) We drove up and soon arrived at one of the biggest schools around. We wanted to go look around inside, and after talking to the guard and him seeing I was white.. he let us in. We walked around and looked at the classes and rooms and traveled through gardened area, where Ben got a flower :) and we picked a few more >:) ! We  soon headed out and drove up to the teacher's college down the road. We walked in and the guard took us to the headmaster's house which is on the compound. We sat down in her house and talked to her for a little bit and she was a very friendly lady. Ben introduced me, and himself, and soon she was inviting us to sing at the graduation! WOW.. ! We will be receiving invites to sing in February. (She said it would be fun to have  some white skin around ;) ) She showed us around the area where the cows are , then to the classrooms, and other areas. We walked past the agriculture place and she picked us some passion fruits to eat later, and she even showed us the stage we will sing on. After an exercise of climbing all the little hills to get everywhere she had told us we could just do whatever we want and walk around wherever :). We sat in the garden and talked for a bit then decided it was time to go.. as we were heading out I slipped up a hill and face planted! The klutziness doesn't end in Canada I guess! As we were going to eat our passion fruits Ben tried to crack it open it splattered all over his face and shirt, and soon it was everywhere . He decided he would give up and we would leave. We rode down the hills and through the bumpiness. We got back to the orphanage and then got our things ready and headed to the studio to make some more tracks.
