Day 116:
Today is Visa day for Ben! We had to get up early and had out in time to go get his visa forms sent in.We made sure all of Ben's papers were filled out and got a ride there. We headed inside the big building and we headed to the Canadian Visa spot. We showed the papers to the worker there, and we were told that it needed to be printed out and not hand written, oh joy! We went back outside to the car we were driven in and told the driver we needed to find an Internet Café so that we could re-type it all and print it out, then we had to go to the bank because the money that was sent from Canada from the organization supporting Ben had sent it to the wrong place. First stop was the Internet Café, where they got me to type all of Ben's forms up because I type the fastest. After we finished up there, we drove quickly over to the bank, where there was some shops as well. Dad went to the bank while Mom and I were brought to some material shops to look for more material while we were waiting. We went through some shops, then we walked down the road and the driver guy showed us another nice shop. We went inside and... We found the PERFECT MATERIAL for the bridesmaid dresses! We did not have my dad and his handy dandy wallet though .. hahah! We walked back , met up with him then this time took the car and bought the material. After we finished up there we went back to the Visa place. We walked up, and gave the guy the forms and money, and then we were set! Now what to do... We decided we would go to the shopping centre nearby. We stayed there for some time, ate and walked around. There was actually white people there! Where we are living we are the only Mzungus in the area. Unless of course you consider tourists who just drive by the area..? After awhile we decided it was time to go, and along the way had met up with my dad's cousin's husband. (Complicated to explain right?) We chatted for a bit, and he invited us over for Saturday to stay at his new home, since we had to be out of the place we were staying by then anyways. We got our drive and went back to where we were staying. The rest of the evening we relaxed :) watched some movies since we actually had a Tv! :o
